I’m more in love.
I think I’m in love.
Bring me here.
The “Old” Main Library. The Main Library has occupied a prominent position in downtown Cincinnati since 1874, when a new building was constructed at 629 Vine Street. Considered the most magnificent public library building in the United States at the time, “Old Main” featured one element similar to today’s library: a towering atrium with a skylight ceiling. Of the dramatic atrium,Harpers Weekly said “The first impression made upon the mind on entering this hall is the immense capacity for storing books in its five tiers of alcoves, and then the eye is attracted and gratified by its graceful and carefully studied architecture…” The building closed in 1955, when the “New Main Library,”located at 800 Vine Street, opened. More detailed information about the history of the building can be found in Free & Public: One Hundred and Fifty Years at the Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County by John Fleischman.

I know I just started using tumblr… But I don’t get it…
HELP!
John Perry, who works at some university or another, recently won the Ig Nobel literature prize (Which is organized by the fantastic organization Improbable Research) for his theory on structured procrastination. His theory on structured procrastination is: To be a high achiever, always work on something important, using it as a way to avoid doing something that’s even more important.
I’m currently procrastinating. But I’m I doing it well?
I’m eating yogurt (fuels my body and I get live active cultures!), drinking tea with cinnamon and raw honey (oh so many health benefits!), and I’m about to watch The River for the first time… I’m not sure how I’m going to justify that one.

“Personally, I like to think that my brother is having a college experience like they do in the movies. I don’t mean the big fraternity party kind of movie. More like the movie where the guy meets a smart girl who wears a lot of sweaters and drinks cocoa. They talk about books and issues and kiss in the rain.” - The Perks of being a Wallflower
